Buongiorno Optimises Site for iPhone

Mobile marketing firm Buongiorno has optimised its corporate website for iPhone users, identified automatically using device recognition. Buongiorno says it chose to focus initially on the iPhone due to “the wide usage and influence of Apple iOS devices”, and as a result of its own traffic analysis metrics. Since February 2011, the site has recorded 1m page views; with 50 per cent of its mobile visits coming via an iOS device.
“Telling the company’s story through the use of a corporate website designed especially for iPhone users gives Buongiorno the potential to access more than 150m devices worldwide. This completes our aim of offering immediate and transparent communication to all of our stakeholders,” says Buongiorno’s international marketing & communication director, Lucia Predolin.
