ClickTale Launches In-Depth Mobile Analytics Solution

ClickTale has launched its in-depth analytics solution for mobile, in beta. ClickTale Mobile enables companies to view the browsing experience of visitors to their mobile site at various levels of detail – from aggregated views, to playable videos of individual sessions.

With usability problems on the mobile web still rife, even among those companies with a mobile-optimised site, ClickTale is hoping to become the go-to tool for organisations looking to increase mobile visitor engagement, and reduce site abandonment rates.

“Companies today are almost completely blind to how customers interact with their mobile sites – it’s essentially a black box,” says Tal Schwartz, CEO and co-founder of ClickTale. “Businesses can now visualize what’s working and what’s not on their websites, by seeing every swipe, pinch, tilt and tap. By revealing the problems that are frustrating their customers, businesses can finally make the site improvements that optimise the mobile customer experience for millions of users worldwide.”

One of the first customers to sign up for the beta is CBS, who will be using the solution across its web properties, inlcuding CNET and Last.fm. According to ClickTale, the final version of ClickTale Mobile will be made available to the general public later this year.
