Analyst Visiongain is staging a Mobile Advertising Conference between 28 and 30 November at the Kensington Marriott hotel in London.
The conference will examine what percentage of brand advertising and marketing budgets will go on mobile; what the associated revenues will be; where the biggest market opportunities are; what types of mobile advertising are most likely to succeed; and how operators and others in the value chain can best position themselves.
Visiongain is predicting that mobile marketing and advertising in Europe and the US will grow to $1.5 billion (790 million) by 2010. The increasing availability of multimedia content is opening up a large opportunity for sophisticated forms of mobile advertising, it says. As content that already incorporates advertising such as live TV programming – makes its way to mobile handsets, brands and entertainment content providers are beginning to see the value of presenting full multimedia ads with programs.
The event costs 1,699 for the Conference and Workshop, 1,299 for the Conference only, or 599 for the Workshop only.
