David Murphy is editorial director and co-founder of Dot Media. The company was born out of Mobile Marketing Magazine, which David launched as an online news, analysis and advice portal in November 2005.

David oversees the editorial direction of the website, print and iPad magazines. He also manages the speaker programme for the company’s events business, including the Mobile Marketing Summits, and the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards. David is also a co-founder of Masterclassing.com which runs half-day Mobile, Social and Digital knowledge exchange workshops in the UK, US, Dubai and Singapore.

A French graduate, David is married with two teenage daughters and when not funding their shopping habit, enjoys cycling, squash and football.
