EPiServer Creates Multichannel CMS for Connected Content

EPiServer has launched a multichannel content management system that enables marketers and editors to create and deploy content that works seamlessly across smartphone, tablet and desktop.

It has been developed to ensure businesses can deliver a consistent customer experience, securely managed in one place. Users of EPiServer 7 can test, measure and modify content to increase conversions from smaller one-off campaigns to entire brand offerings.

Site owners can install, upgrade and uninstall add-ons without the need for a developer. The platform also helps drive relevant traffic from social channels and users can personalise the communication based on the customer context.

“Our customers tell us that it is difficult and time consuming to create great sites that are relevant to the customer and ensure maximum impact across mobile, tablet and desktop as well as the social channel,” said Bob Egner, VP of product development and global marketing at EPiServer.

“By giving marketers and content creators the option to update all screens at once and reuse content across the web and social channels, we’ve streamlined the process, making it even easier for companies to create consistent, responsive sites that are customised and optimised based on the customer context.”
EPiServer 7 CMS has standard plug-ins with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SalesForce.com.
