In what must rank as the shortest, tersest press release ever, Tesco Mobile has reveled that it is to begin selling the iPhone.
The MVNO is a 50:50 joint venture between Tesco and O2, using O2s network, and selling Tesco Mobile-branded services in Tesco stores, online and through Tesco Direct. Tesco Mobile is also available in the expanding estate of Tesco Phone Shops, which will number over 100 by the end of the year.
According to Tesco Mobiles PR firm, the network is aiming to have the handset on sale by Christmas, providing they can get the best deals in place for their customers.
