LinkedIn has released updated version of its iOS and Android apps. The biggest change is the introduction of notifications, pinging the user about their LinkedIn activity in real-time, which were added to the web version earlier this week.
The update also brings company pages to the apps, and access to job listings, and the iPad version has added support for six languages – Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Korean, and Spanish.
According to the blog post announcing the changes, 23 per cent of unique users on LinkedIn come via one of its apps, up from 10 per cent a year ago – and mobiles account for 15 per cent of all new member sign-ups.
