Miyowa Powers Mobile IM Deployment

Miyowa, which specialises in mobile instant messaging (IM) and entertainment services, has revealed that it was behind the development of the mobile Java version of Windows Live Messenger, which has been launched by Bouygues Telecom in France.
The launch means that Bouygues Telecom customers will be able to use Windows Live Messenger on their mobile phone, thanks to Miyowas universal mobile IM technology, MoveMessenger. In addition, customers will also be offered access to the the leading free webmail service, Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail#, from their mobile handset from the autumn of this year.
15 mobile operators around the world now use MoveMessenger. Designed to provide an end-to-end service, which incorporates content distribution and advertising capabilities, together with detailed billing information, MoveMessenger has become the mobile instant messaging service of choice amongst European operators, Miyowa says.
