MLOVE Announces Start Up Contest Finalists

Mobile event MLOVE has announced the five finalists in its start-up competition, who win the chance to pitch their business to a panel of industry movers and shakers.

The competition, which takes place as part of the MLOVE ConFestival, pits the five winners against each other to win a ticket to the MLOVE event in Japan, an SEO workshop by Hub:raum, and several other consumer tech prizes.

The five finalists are:

  • PeopleHunt – “a smartphone scavenger hunt for people”
  • 10 Stamps – a mobile loyalty scheme app
  • Adzuki – an advertising solution for digital publishers
  • twofloats – a location-based mobile social platform
  • Pixengo Media – a mobile photo-sharing app

The Startup competition is sponsored by Nokia, hub:raum of Deutsche Telekom, Sonos, Aupeo, and Accenture.

MLOVE takes place in a 200-year-old castle just south of Berlin from June 27-29. It is billed as a meeting of the mobile avante-garde and features a programme of speakers and events with the aim of sharing and developing ideas, say the organisers.
