MMA Reveals Latest Members

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), which represents more than 450 companies across the mobile ecosystem, has announced the latest new members to its growing global membership roster. The new member companies represent the global nature of the MMA, joining from North America, South America, Asia Pacific and Europe. The MMA also noted its recent win of the 2007 Communication Gold Circle Award for best Peer-Reviewed Journal for the MMA International Journal of Mobile Marketing (MMA-IJMM), highlighting the importance of continued global education for the development of mobile marketing. Presented by American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) & The Centre for Association Leadership, the Award recognises innovative ideas and achievement in association communications campaigns.  The MMA won the award for best Peer-Reviewed Journal for its MMA-IJMM.
The MMAs continued membership growth further enhances the associations ability to collaborate with players across the ecosystem and the world to drive the adoption of mobile marketing education and expand industry guidelines and best practices to ensure a positive consumer experience, says MMA President, Laura Marriott. We also congratulate the MMA Academic Outreach Committee for the recognition the MMA-IJMM has received.
The MMAs 450+ global member companies include agencies, advertisers, hand held device manufacturers, wireless operators, aggregators, technology enablers, market research firms and all companies focused on marketing via the mobile channel. The most recent MMA members include: Anheuser-Busch, Inc., Edelman, Experian, Sennari Entertainment, Inc., and Valista.
The MMAs global headquarters are located in the US, with regional chapters in Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC), consisting of representatives in over 40 countries across the globe. The Central & Latin America (CALA) chapter will also be launched Q4 2007.
