Mobile Research Awards Shortlist Announced

Globalpark has announced the finalists for the inaugural Mobile Research Conference (MRC) Awards.

The MRC Awards will be part of the third annual Mobile Research Conference, which will take place in London from April 18-19. The awards aim to recognise innovation in conducting market research through mobile devices. Globalpark is itself a survey software developer based in Germany. It is also the company behind the Mobile Research Conference. 

“While technology provides us with new and exciting ways of engaging people in research, it is the researcher pioneers who are making it work in practice that deserve industry recognition,” says Lorenz Graef, CEO of Globalpark. “The MRC Awards were introduced to honour the fearless researchers who are working on the cutting-edge with new mobile technologies in search of more truthful findings. Those who have made the first ever shortlist are to be congratulated.”

The finalists for the MRC 2011 Awards are:

Zokem Ltd (Finland) 

Ipsos and Lumi Mobile (UK)

Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex (UK) 

The Nielsen Company (USA) and Techneos (Canada)

The event programme committee, which features representatives from Lisbon University, Samson Consulting, and Fly Research, will judge the awards, and the winner will be announced at a drinks reception at the close of day one of the MRC Conference in London on 18 April .
