MoMo London and UCL Team Up for Mobile Course

The Mobile Academy, which runs training programmes for start-up developers and designers, is staging a 36-hour London event called Making It In Mobile. The event is aimed at designers and developers who want to learn new skills, or entrepreneurs looking to launch into mobile.

The Mobile Academy is a joint venture between Mobile Monday London and University College London (UCL Advances). The course runs is a 10-week evening programme for anyone keen to start or con¬tinue their journey in mobile innovation.

The course focuses on the business, design and technological aspects of developing successful mobile products, services and experiences. The organisers say it can help to transform the seed of an idea into a pitch-ready presentation or award-winning mobile campaign.

Participants are encouraged to develop their own idea as they progress through the pro-gramme and can select from talks, workshops and clinics, all delivered by industry professionals from successful start-ups and established organisations.
The course starts on 18 September. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 9pm at UCL locations near Euston, finishing on 22nd November 2012. It costs £300 plus a £17 booking fee to attend.
