Nigerias HiTV Channel Goes Mobile Via Yamgo

Nigerian TV channel HiTV has launched its live TV channel on mobile TV network Yamgo.

The launch will bring HiTVs content to mobile devices for the first time. The channel will deliver the Nigerian broadcasters content to the main mobile phone operating systems, including iOS, Android, Nokia and Blackberry.

“As the premier broadcaster dedicated to African programming, HiTV can take full advantage of the Yamgo mobile TV network to deliver audiences the most comprehensive catalogue of African themed entertainment available on mobile devices,” says Tunji Amure, Head of HiTV UK.

According to HiTV, the channel will feature music videos, news, dramas, sitcoms and lifestyle programmes, as well as a selection of the latest Nigerian films.
