Mobile software management company Red Bend Software has secured a deal to supply Chinas BYD Electronic Company with its vRapid Mobile and vDirect Mobile solutions.

vRapid Mobile is a firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updating solution. BYD Electronic has also licensed Red Bends vDirect Mobile device management software. 

The vRapid Mobile software allows users to update their devices firmware in the background while they carry on using their phone for talking and other operations. 

vDirect Mobile is a device-management client for mobile phones and wireless devices, which can be used to set up new subscribers, configure applications and network settings, manage software, and retrieve device information.
