Global sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have passed the 10m milestone, less than a month after the handsets launch on 27 April.
Thats equivalent to four units sold every second, a new sales record for Samsung.
Sales of Samsungs Galaxy range have been accelerating with the release of each successive handset – it took seven months for the original Galaxy S to hit the 10m mark, five months for the S2, and 50 days for the S3.
Sales are sure to drop going forward, but Samsung is aiming to keep momentum up as much as possible, by expanding the number of countries where the S4 is available – from 110 to 155 – and introducing four new colour variations of the handset.
