Former head of mobile at Ogilvy Group UK Scott Seaborn has moved to Dutch mobile agency XS2. Taking the role of executive creative director, Seaborn will be responsible for the agency’s creative output as well as strategic direction, international expansion and maintenance of client partnerships, in partnership with XS2 CEO and co-founder Sander Munsterman.
“I’m delighted to be joining such a brilliant agency as XS2, which really seems to ‘get’ what mobile in the 2010s is all about – connected media,” says Seaborn. “Its technological offer has also always been top-notch and I’m looking forward to marrying it together with the creative side of the business to be able to offer our clients an unrivalled service in mobile.”
During his five-year stint at Ogilvy, Seaborn founded the mobile division, and worked on mobile campaigns including Fantas Stealth Sound System – produced in partnership with XS2 – and the IBM Wimbledon Seer AR app.
