Fashion shopping site ShopStyle.co.uk has announced record year-on-year download and usage figures for its free iPhone app.
The site, which brings together over 2,000 fashion retailers and brands under one digital roof has seen a 920 per cent increase in its UK iPhone sessions year-on-year and a 200 per cent rise quarter-on-quarter. In the last four weeks alone, sessions on ShopStyleMobile have grown by 19 per cent as consumers use the app to search for that little something for the festive season.
4 per cent of all clickthroughs to ShopStyle.co.uk now come from the retailer’s iPhone and more recently iPad apps. The apps, which enable users to filter items by brand, store, price, size and items on sale, enable mobile users to quickly see what’s available online, before buying it later at their computer or there and then via their phone or iPad. 
ShopStyle.co.uk says it has also seen a 22 per cent increase in iPhone app downloads year-on-year, and that it expects download and session figures to continue to increase beyond the Christmas period and well into 2011.
