UK mobile ad Demand Side Platform (DSP) StrikeAd has partnered with mobile ad optimisation firm Smaato.
Advertisers using StrikeAds service and platform will now have access to Smaatos advertising inventory in Europe. This is in addition to the existing mobile publishers and ad networks already connected via the StrikeAd DSP, says StrikeAd.
“Brand and agencies now know that mobile is essential to how they engage with consumers. As a result, we see a surge in demand for more intelligent and targeted access to high quality ad inventory. With Smaatos extensive range of RTB-enabled inventory, we can now provide even more control and choice over where ads are targeted so that brands can optimise their advertising for better ROI and consumer engagement,” says Alex Rahaman, CEO of StrikeAd.
“The emerging specialisation in the mobile advertising ecosystem brings out new value propositions and therefore we welcome strong partners like StrikeAd and their DSP offerings,” says Ragnar Kruse, CEO and co-founder of Smaato. “Smaato is working alongside StrikeAd in the openRTB mobile group to push for standardisation of RTB for mobile to create a solid foundation of a global mobile RTB marketplace. As the largest mobile Sell Side Platform (SSP) we help drive the adoption of standardised RTB that will lead to more transparency and higher revenue for our app developers and publisher partners.”
The partnership integrates Smaatos inventory into StrikeAds platform with immediate effect.
