Telefónica UK has partnered with Jasper Wireless to deploy a cloud-based management platform for M2M (machine-to-machine) connections. Using the platform, Telefónicas customers will be able to roll out connected devices, manage them in real time, and deliver global support.

The platform, which is already being deployed, provides customers with global visibility of all SIMs connected to the mobile network, to give a live view of how devices are connecting to and using the mobile network.

The partnership, the companies say, brings together Jasper Wireless’ Control Centre technology with Telefónicas established position and experience in the communications and M2M markets.
