The iPhone App That Pays You To Use It

Online market research firm OnePoll.com has announced the launch of what it claims is the first iPhone app that pays users to use it. OnePoll is a survey app for the iPhone that rewards users in the UK and the US with hard cash for answering simple surveys. Users can earn between 10p and £5 for each survey taken, and can take as many surveys as there are available a any given time.

Sign-up takes less than 30 seconds, and most surveys contain between 10 and 20 questions. Once users have reached £40, the cash is transferred directly into their PayPal or bank account.

Existing OnePoll members who have iPhones can download the app and start taking surveys immediately. OnePoll.com is also working on an version of the app for the iPad and Android.

We’re really excited about this app,” says Kevin Smith, research manager at OnePoll.com, who came up with the idea for the app and has overseen its development. “Not only will it allow OnePoll to take the research industry forward by providing a viable method to conduct mobile research, but (it will) also present an opportunity to iPhone users to earn cash on the move.

“The beauty of this app is that we have stuck to our core beliefs that answering surveys should be easy, fun and rewarding. We’ve kept the signup and log in process quick and simple and surveys available to the user are displayed to them quickly once signing in.”
