Windows 10 Reaches 75m Devices

Since it started rolling out in July, 75m devices have updated to Windows 10.
This covers 90,000 different models of PC and tablet, manufactured as far back as 2007, but theres no indication how these figures break down between desktop and mobile.
Its also worth remembering that the OS still isnt available for smartphones – or any official launch date, with autumn the firmest commitment Microsoft has made thus far. 
The figures were shared by Windows corporate VP of marketing Yusuf Mehdi on Twitter. He also revealed that the Windows Store on Windows 10 has already seen six times as many app downloads per device than Windows 8.
