Samsung Unveils Note 3 Smartphone and 10.1 Tablet

Along with the Gear smartwatch, Samsung has unveiled a new 10 inch tablet, the Note 10.1 2014 edition, along with its largest ever Galaxy Note, the Note 3.

The Note 10.1 tablet comes in at just 7.9mm think and weighs just 535g but offers a 1.9GHz 8-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It comes with wi-fi, 3G and 4G options. 

In the spirit of personalisation, the Note 3 smartphone comes with a choice of nine leather cases, has a large 5.7 inch screen but also includes a 3200mAh battery, which should extend the battery life.

Both give users greater opportunity for multitasking, with users able to run and use two apps simultaneously, as well as more functionality from the stylus, like drag and drop between different windows.

Samsung has also unveiled its KNOX security, enabling users to store any sensitive information inside the Container so it is protected from physical or virtual hackers.
