KeyPoint Technologies (KPT), has launched Adaptex, a predictive language software for Windows Mobile5 and Pocket PC 2003 devices. KPT says that AdapTex transforms the speed, accuracy and user experience of applications such as push email, text messaging, mobile blogging and authoring of documents on handheld devices. Independent user tests show average keystrokes-per-character savings of 60%.
KPT says that AdapTex is context aware software that constantly learns, maps and predicts the users own individual use of language. Predictive accuracy is high and the software rapidly evolves to suit the profile of each user.
AdapTex has the potential to transform the PDA and Smartphone experience, and in turn change the market for these devices by bringing in a wide range of new customers with a need for high volume email, texting, mobile blogging and authoring, says KeyPoint Technologies CEO, Sanjay Patel.
AdapTex is available now for 16. The current release is for Windows Mobile5 and Pocket PC 2003 devices with worldwide English. KPT says that software releases for other languages and platforms will be announced in due course.
