The long-awaited arrival of the new Nokia 3310 has finally had a UK release date and price set – if we are to believe a product listing on a retailer’s site.

The reboot of the legendary handset was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. At the time, HMD Global – which has exclusive Nokia brand licensing rights for the next decade – gave little away regarding the device’s release. It would only say that the phone would retail at €49 (£42) and would be due out in the second quarter.

However, according to Dorset-based retailer Clove Technology, the Nokia 3310 will arrive in the UK next month at a price of £59.99 (inc. VAT) – which would make it a decent chunk more expensive than originally suggested.

The rebooted 3310 comes with a 2.4in colour screen, the battery provides 22 hours talk time and up to one month of standby time, and a re-imagined version of the iconic Snake game. It also has micro USB charger, 3.5mm headphone jack, torchlight, 2MP camera and microSD card slot for up to 32GB more memory. It comes in warm, red, yellow, dark blue, and grey.
