Parentsaround.com has launched a multi-device parental control system of the same name that is managed via the web. The system allows parents to supervise their children’s usage of PCs, smartphones and Android tablets remotely, via a smartphone or PC. The technology works with European mobile operators.

Parents can monitor their children’s online activity via the site’s admin console and from a PC running Windows 7, 8, Vista or XP, or from a connected smartphone or Android tablet device. Parents can monitor an individual child’s connections; filter internet usage; controlling user time or time-of-day usage; add additional connection time; or disconnecting the device from the web.

The software also allows for the protection of a range of devices. Parentsaround.com provides unified protection via a single security profile on 10 PCs or Android devices that can be located at different addresses. This makes it possible to aggregate and monitor a child’s session times across different devices.
The parental control solution is equipped with Rapid Host Validation, which permits efficient internet filtering by analysing both words and images, as well as categorising websites.

The software is available from parentsaround.com web portal, and from Google Play Store. A single licence equips 10 PC and Android devices, which can be located at different addresses. After a free one-month trial period, the user can choose between two packages: the ZEN subscription costs €2.99 (£2.53) a month and can be cancelled at any time using the admin control, while the ECO subscription costs €29 a year and is payable in full when the order is placed.

Parentsaround.com also sells its control solution to mobile operators who would

like to offer this service to their customers. The company offers tailor-made partnership agreements, according to the different financial models adopted by telecoms operators.
