Commify, the company behind business messaging brands such as Esendex, Mobyt, and Text Marketer, has added to its portfolio with the acquisition of a pair of European businesses.

The supplier of application-to-person business messaging services made the purchase of German firm Goyya Systems, which trades as Massenversand.de, and Spanish provider SMSUP. With the acquisitions, Commify has taken its portfolio up to 12.

“The German market is extremely exciting,’ said Geoff Love, CEO of Commify. “We believe it has tremendous potential yet to be realised for the customer segments we target.  We see strong growth in the German market for Solution customers with the Esendex brand, and Massenversand.de is complementary to that, adding significant scale, a strong brand in the Self-Serve customer segment and a high-quality customer base.

Love continued, commenting on the SMSUP acquisition: “With SMSpubli and Esendex, we already have two strong brands in the Spanish market for Self-Serve and Solution customers and are enjoying high growth,” said Love. “Adding SMSUP puts us in a market leading position in this territory for these key customer segments. We now have a full range of brands and offerings in Spain to help any size of business, in any sector, embrace mobile technology to transform their customer communications.”
