Infographic: 65 per cent of Large UK Businesses Incorrectly List Location

65 per cent of large UK businesses have incorrect addresses listed, with 67 per cent of smaller businesses suffering from the same problem.
Thats according to research from Yext, which also found that 33 per cent of large businesses list an incorrect phone number, growing to 61 per cent for small businesses. This becomes an issue when, in a survey of 2,000 UK consumers, 80 per cent said they had encountered incorrect information when searching online – with 43.2 per cent of them saying it was not a rare occurrence.
“Consumers rely on mobile search to get the information they need quickly, and they expect it to be reliable. Our research has shown that businesses with out of date location information online are risking their relationships with customers and their revenue,” said Jon Buss, managing director for UK and Northern Europe at Yext.
