MoMac Upgrades Mobile Publishing Platform

Mobile web solutions provider MoMac has released two important upgrades for its award-winning mobile publishing platform. The platform now offers HTML5 support, plus deep integration with the world’s leading social networks.

MoMac says its clients will now be able to use the most comprehensive rich media functionality available on a handset. Scrolling zones, tickers, overlays and dynamic menus are some of the standard features that have been created to make the most of the new HTML5 and mobile JavaScript standards.

“Our platform’s flexibility ensures that the widest possible range of phones can experience this functionality” says MoMac CMO, Olivier Milcent. “Literally hundreds of different smartphones now have access to a richer mobile web.”

The same platform upgrade will also offer MoMac customers the facility to execute deep integrations with Facebook and Twitter. In addition to the standard sharing features of these social networks, MoMac’s platform now utilises a single-sign-in process to display a user’s wall, newsfeed, direct messages and mails, enabling MoMac’s customers to benefit from social media content without losing their users off-portal. These feature-sets are included in MoMac’s latest projects for MSN, MTV, the French Ministry of Economy, Havas and Lebara.
