Over the years, Samsung’s mobile brand ambassadors have made it a habit of being caught using rival Apple’s iPhone devices in the public eye – ruining the façade that they have been enlisted to portray. Now, the electronics giant appears to have had enough.

In the latest instance, Ksenia Sobchak, a Russian politician, journalist, and TV host, is reportedly being sued by Samsung for 108m rubles (£1.25m) after being caught using an iPhone X during a television interview – despite her poor attempts at trying to hide the phone under a sheet of paper.

Sobchak is one of the faces of Samsung in Russia and, according to the Mirror, is contractually required to appear in public with her Samsung phone.

This is also allegedly not the first time that Sobchak has been spotted using her iPhone instead of her Samsung device. It’s reported that she has been spotted previously on television and at some of Moscow’s biggest social events using the rival device.

Sobchak joins the likes of Kate Upton, Adam Levine, Gal Gadot, and Gal Gadot in making the gaffe of being caught using an iPhone when they were supposed to be promoting an Android-powered device.
