Sweden, Netherlands, UK Lead Mobile Adoption in Europe

Thats according to Flurry research, which places the UK (82.8m devices, a penetration of 130 per cent) in third place, narrowly behind the Netherlands (23m, 136 per cent). Italy has the lowest adoption in Western Europe (40.4m, 66 per cent), but is still ahead of Eastern markets like Poland (15m, 39 per cent) and Ukraine (15m, 34 per cent).

When it comes to form factor, Spain is leading the pack for adoption of phablets (defined as devices with a display of 5–6.9″), which account for 37 per cent of all mobile devices in use in the market. In the UK, meanwhile, that figure stands at just 21 per cent.]

How those devices are being used varies from country to country, too. In the UK and France, messaging and social apps rule the roost, accounting for 41 and 40 per cent of time respectively.
