Telepo Unveils Mobility Solution

3gsm_logo_2Swedish software company Telepo has used 3GSM to unveil Business Communication Solution 3.0, which adds multimedia and real-time communication capabilities to its next-generation converged mobility solution for enterprises.
Telepo claims that Business Communication Solution 3.0 solves the converged needs of enterprises with rapidly-growing mobile workforces. It extends the range of advanced voice and messaging functions, and provides intelligent call routing across fixed and mobile devices. The new solution enhances voice and data integration, allowing enterprises to control and expand their mobile business communication.
Features include voice and data integration, with presence and unified messaging, including instant and short messaging (IM/SMS), integrated voice mail, call recording, fax and conferencing; an enhanced mobile experience, with mobile presence, online directory search, click-to-call, centralised contacts management and synchronised call logs across devices; increased cost savings and control, with mobile least cost routing, advanced online reporting and usage statistics; simplified  configuration and management, with centralised web-based provisioning and corporate directory services, over-the-air deployment, configuration and remote diagnostics of devices and services, and support for virtual hosting; and localised services capability, with multi-language and currency support.
Telepos solutions are built on Linux and open IETF standards, such as SIP, HTTP and LDAP, to offer interoperability with a wide range of endpoint devices, legacy mixed-vendor (PBX) infrastructures and other business applications, without additional investment providing a migration path to all-IP communications. The solution is available as stand-alone software for enterprises or as a pay-per-license offering from operators and service providers.
The industry is on the verge of a drastic shift from proprietary device-centric communication to open standards based user-centric solutions says Telepo CEO Lars-Michal Paqvaln. The launch of Business Communications Solution 3.0 strengthens Telepos role as a leading provider of independent business communication solutions that address the needs of todays mobile workforce with an easy to deploy and use service. Our technology enables businesses to achieve true mobility and push the boundaries of mobile working to achieve efficiency and productivity returns in as little as six to nine months.
