Fans of Im A CelebrityGet Me Out Of Here! will be able to get more of the show via ITVs mobile portal, and a 3G streaming video service, available to Vodafone and 3s 3G customers, when the new series starts on Sunday.
The mobile portal will showcase up-to-date exclusive content, including news from the jungle, interviews with the celebrity presenters, and pictures. Fans will also be able to share news and views using a new mobile video blogging service, which will allow them to leave messages for the show.
The 3G mobile video service will deliver streamed live action, as well as edited highlights and interviews with celebrity presenters. Fans of the show will also be able to sign up for daily news text alerts, and purchase clips, ringtones and games by texting the word MOBILE to 63330.
Series Fives collection of celebrities is as unlikely as that of previous series, throwing together, among others, ex-Neighbours actress Kimberley Davies, Antony Costa, once of boy band Blue, ex-Eastenders actor Sid Owen, perma-tanned TV antiques star David Dickinson, Jimmy Osmond, Jilly Goolden and Carol Thatcher. How any of them found the time to take part in the show, fronted as usual by Ant and Dec, is a moot point.
