Accenture acquires creative marketing agency Wire Stone

Accenture Wire StoneGlobal professional services company Accenture has acquired Wire Stone, a US-based creative marketing agency, bringing it up to 14 acquisitions in the last five years. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Wire Stone works with clients to solve their creative and business challenges. It creates integrated campaigns and immersive experiences using technologies to tell brand stories.

With the acquisition, Wire Stone will become part of Accenture Interactive, expanding its creative marketing capabilities. All of Wire Stone’s nearly 200 US employees will link up with Accenture Interactive.

Founded in 2000, Wire Stone employs nearly 200 people in the US – all of whom will link up with Accenture Interactive. It has delivered work for brands the likes of Microsoft, HP Enterprise, HP Inc., PayPal, and eBay.

The latest acquisition adds to the ever-growing list of purchases Accenture has made over the last few years, including the acquisitions of British creative ad agency Karmarama, German digital marketing agency SinnerSchrader, and US digital optimisation company Clearhead.
