Destiny Wireless has announced the launch of Inkworks, its cloud-based digital data capture system. 

The system provides a scalable platform incorporating digital pen functionality that will, for the first time, allow users to design, manage and publish their own digital forms. It will enable users to create their own business workflow, and design and publish forms that can be completed using a digital pen and tablet device.

When using Inkworks, users can input data from multiple devices such as digital pens, tablets and smartphones. Previous, the only input device that could be used was a digital pen. The mobile data capture device they choose to use will depend not only on the environment within which they work but also on the application and the job itself. 

Inkworks will enable businesses to directly manage users, groups, workflows; centrally manage mobile handset configurations; automatically update handset application software; configure and manage their own data capture solution; and collect data from the field via a broad range of electronic devices such as digital pens, tablets and smartphones in real- time.
