Google Drops to 83 per cent Market Share of Search on Mobile

Search on MobileGoogles market share of searches made on mobile has dropped to 83.26 per cent, as Bing and Yahoo continue to make gradual gains.

While the search giant still dominates the market, the figures from StatCounter represent its lowest market share since September 2013.

Competitors Yahoo and Bing sit at 10.23 per cent and 6.09 per cent respectively, and have been making slow but steady increases since the start of the year.

Googles position on desktop is weaker still, with 76.4 per cent of all searches made via the company, while Bing and Yahoo sit at 13 per cent and 9 per cent.
