Gravity Road gives You & Mr Jones a controlling stake

Gravity Road You & Mr JonesBrandtech group You & Mr Jones has picked up a controlling stake in Gravity Road, a creative agency, worth 51 per cent of the company for an undisclosed amount.

The deal, which was first reported by Campaign, will see the agency operate as You and Mr Jones’ content and innovation hub, as well as debuting in the US. Furthermore, Gravity Road’s founders, Mark Boyd and Mark Eaves will retain significant shareholdings in the business, while chairman and minority investor David Pattison will also continue his involvement.

“Joining You & Mr Jones was an irresistible opportunity to scale internationally from within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment,” said Eaves. “Gravity Road becomes a creative innovation hub at the heart of a fantastic technology company.”

The investment by You & Mr Jones in Gravity Road is just one of more than 20 investments the company has made.

Previously, it has invested $20m in Pinterest, been part of a Niantic funding round, and acquired a majority stake in mobile marketing specialist Mobkoi among others.
