Lacoste Snaps Up Mobile Commerce

Lacoste has launched a mobile commerce site, built on Usablenets technnology platform, just in time for Christmas. As well as browsing and purchasing products, the site enables users to locate their nearest Lacoste supplier and connect with the brands social media outlets.

“We’re thrilled to provide our customers with a new way of interacting with the croc,” says Steve Birkhold, Lacoste US president and CEO. “This is the first of many mobile initiatives that we believe will bridge users’ online and offline brand experiences in a meaningful and engaging way.”

Multichannel platform developer Usablenet, founded in 2000, has a clientbase of nearly 200 Fortune 1000 companies, including Amtrak, FedEx, Hilton, Marks & Spencer, and Tesco.
