Moment.me Raises $1.65m of Funding for Mobile Microsite Service

eventsMoment.me has gained $1.65m (£972,000) in its latest round of funding for its event-focused mobile microsite creation software.

The company enables event organisers to create mobile-optimised sites within minutes without any coding knowledge. These microsites generate a mobile presence for events and allow attendees to prepare for and relive events online. Sites created using the software also integrate Moment.mes viral app that aggregates content from social networks and camera rolls.

“Moment.mes latest move into the event-technology space and the debut of their new monetizable service proves they have the vision to take their company to the next level, making them a perfect investment choice,” said Alon Lifshitz, venture partner at Blumberg Capital, one of the investors. “We were delighted to have been involved in Moment.mes viral app success and were excited to be part of this next development.”

The new funding will allow the company to build on its initial success and accelerate market adoption of its new solution, as well as expanding its marketing and advertising efforts. In addition, it aims to pursue strategic partnerships with web development companies, integrating its proprietary technology as an embebbable web app or widget to access a new pool of users.
