Blippar
Augmented reality firm Blippar has hired Glen Drury as its EMEA chief commercial officer as part of an effort to reposition itself as a digital media platform.

Drury previously held the role of vice president of mobile advertising at Opera Mediaworks, and also has time at Yahoo, Kelkoo and TravelZoo on his CV. At Blippar, as well as driving the business repositioning, Drury will be responsible for growing the monetisation of its visual search proposition for the EMEA market.

Factual
Data company Factual has hired Rob Jonas as its first SVP of revenue, off the back of a $35m Series B funding round last December.

Jonas, who was previously chief revenue officer at PubMatic and before that worked at Google, Yahoo and InMobi, wil be tasked with scaling the revenue organisation quickly enough to meet the demand the company is seeing from the market.

Intelligent Optimisations
Customer acquisition-focused DSP Intelligent Optimisations has named Tom Bowman as CEO, taking over from interim CEO Charles McGregor.

Bowman was formerly global SVP of sales operations at BBC Advertising, and has also worked at MSN and Yahoo.

Astound Commerce
Terry Hunter has joined Astound Commerce as UK managing director, as part of the eCommerce firms recent takeover of digital creative agency Firedog.

Hunter, the founder and former CEO of eCommerce consultancy Tryzens, will be responsible for heading up UK operations as Astound looks to drive forwards it European business.
