Nava Finance Hires Industry Veteran Pearson as CMO
Nava Finance, which is set to launch a new consumer lending platform early next year, has appointed Mark Pearson as its chief marketing officer (CMO).
Pearson has over 25 years’ experience in financial services marketing and has held senior roles at Prudential, Egg, Selftrade and Equiniti. During this time, he has developed a broad knowledge of the industry and established himself as a leading marketing strategy expert.
Pearson began his career in product management at Prudential in 1986 and later played a central role in developing the marketing strategy for Prudential Banking and its customer satisfaction programme. In 1998 he became part of the team that created and launched internet bank, Egg, where his digital-led approach to customer experience attracted widespread industry recognition.
Pearson said: “Nava’s mission is to offer personal loans to mainstream consumers, many of whom have been under-served by many of the UK’s traditional lenders. The co-founders’ vision for the business and their enthusiasm to drive real change in the industry were key factors in my decision to join the company. Building on the strong foundations that are in place, I look forward to using the skills and experience I have to help establish one of the leading brands in the consumer credit market.”
