Mediavest UK names first permanent CEO
Rachel Forde has been appointed CEO of Publicis-owned media buying agency Mediavest, after the agency was spun out of Starcom Mediavest last December with the formation of Publicis Media.
Forde has 18 years of experience, and was formerly managing director of P&G United, Starcom Mediavests strategic alliance of Procter & Gamble agencies in the UK & Ireland. As CEO, she will be responsible for leading all client relationships, talent development, driving revenue growth, and driving the agency’s cultural identity and positioning in the marketplace. he will report directly to Publicis Media UK CEO Amanda Morrissey
Following Fordes appointment, Nigel Waring, who has been leading the agency on an interim basis, has been named COO.
Cheil announces replacement chief exec
After the resignation of former CEO Paul Hammersley last month, Cheil London has appointed Peter Zillig to the role.
Zillig joins from brand services company TAG Worldwide, where he held the role of CEO EMEA, and prior to that was CEO of Euro RSCG New York.
In the new role, Zillig will take responsibility for the Cheil London office, reporting to European CEO Kevin Park. Sister agency BMB will operate as a separate entity within Cheil UK, with CEO Juliet Haygarth also reporting directly to Park.
Maxwell Jasper Brown joins Mobsta
Location targeting and data specialist Mobsta has named Maxwell Jasper Brown as its new head of sales.
He joins from digital brand Collective, where he was a group head. At Mobsta, Brown will be responsible for driving incremental revenues across the UK, Europe and Scandinavia and will lead the sales teams across these regions, reporting to MD Denise Breslin.
