MWC: Mobile Messages Get Unity

Synchronica has launched mobile messaging platform Unity, which enables mobile operators and device manufacturers to deliver a unified messaging experience across all handsets. Unity offers users an aggregrated view of all messages – whether from social networks, IM, SMS, email or voicemail – from each contact on a single screen. Users are then able to reply to each communication through their chosen service – so, emails can be replied to with SMS, or a Twitter message.

The white-labelled uMail, uChat and uSocial provide white-labelled connectivity to common email, IM and social networking services, intended to give operators and manufacturers an alternative to offerings from over-the-top players.

Unity builds on Synchronicas previous Mobile Gateway offering, adding geo-socialisation features into uChats one-to-one and group IM conversations which enable subscribers to see users locally to build new social connections, along with integration of conversational language platform Ortsbo to provide real-time translation between more than 50 languages.
