Myxer Strikes Warner Music Deal

Mobile entertainment company Myxer has announced a strategic agreement with Warner Music Group (WMG) that will see the music company promoting its catalogue of mobile content, including full-length tracks, music videos, images, and ringtones to the members of its community. Myxer represents more than 34m unique users, who download more than 90m pieces of content every month. The agreement covers the US and Canada and content will be available at www.myxer.com/warnermusic

Additionally, WMG’s artists will have access to Myxer’s MobileStage customizable mobile website offering, complete with fan-list management features, data analytics and messaging. The solution helps artists and record labels to connect with fans. As part of the WMG channel launch on MobileStage, a number of artists, including B.o.B, Flo Rida, Iyaz, Jason Derulo, Paramore, Sean Paul and Trey Songz are offering a free mobile wallpaper with the purchase of a ringtone.

“Myxer is one of the leading mobile destinations and their MobileStage platform provides impressive tools for us to better customize a compelling digital music experience for our artists,” says Larry Mattera, senior vice president, digital sales & marketing at WEA, WMG’s US sales and retail marketing company.
