Pontis Tops Deloitte Israel Fast 50 Rankings

Targeted marketing solutions firm Pontis has clinched the top spot in Deloitte’s 2010 Israel Technology Fast 50 Program, created to recognise and rank the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in Israel, writes Martin Conway. According to Deloitte, Pontis’ lead position was secured by the company’s impressive 5,500 per cent growth rate over the period spanning 2005 to 2009, leading Pontis to trump Tufin Technologies and Kontera, who claimed second and third places respectively.

Michael Kerbis, CEO and founder of Pontis, comments: “This award validates the unique business value and growth Pontis delivers to the mobile and TV industries. Our ongoing commitment to our customers and partners is the true source of our continuous growth.”
Kerbis claims that a major plank in this success has been the popularity of Pontis’ Marketing Delivery Platform (MDP), which assists communication service providers to analyse real time user behaviour and triggers, in order to mix and match offers for relevancy and maximum impact. The Pontis MDP has been adopted internationally by multiple tier 1 mobile and TV operators and the group claims that the platform has led to double-digit increases in average revenue per user and accelerated adoption, as well as enabling many operators to retain key advertising clients.

Having scooped pole position on the Fast 50 Program, Pontis has automatically been entered into Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Program, which acknowledges the same criteria for company innovation and growth, albeit covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) territories. The winner of the Fast 500 will be announced in London in November.
Another mobile tech firm, 3G Vision, also made the Deloitte Israel Technology Fast 50  ranking. 3GVision specialises in mobile barcode solutions and advanced image processing technologies to fast-track consumers to the mobile internet.
