Scalado, which specialises in mobile imaging software solutions for fast and memory-efficient image processing, has revealed that the latest version of its CAPS imaging Software Development Kit (SDK) will feature in a number of new Samsung handsets. The Samsung E950 phone will be the first of many Samsung phones to be rolled out with Scalado-based imaging applications. 
Samsung customers buying the E950 will be able to use the handsets 3.2 Megapixel camera to take photos, with the added benefit of Scalados Image Editor technology. The Scalado software enables users to capture, edit, browse, and manipulate high-resolution images efficiently, giving Samsung E950 users, the company says, all the speed, performance and functionality that end-users would expect from a high-end camera.
