US company Single Touch Interactive, which specialises in Abbreviated Dialling Codes (ADCs), has announced its acquisition of mobile marketing agency, Soapbox Mobile. It says the acquisition will strengthen the ADC platform by adding a carrier-grade campaign management and analytics platform that allows its clients customised direct visibility into every aspect of their advertising and marketing campaigns.
The success of the ADC platform has accelerated the growth of Single Touch Interactive, says Single Touch Founder and CEO, Anthony Macaluso. This acquisition provides Single Touch Interactive with a proven campaign management platform as we continue to Make Mobile Easy for clients and consumers alike. Combining our leadership in Abbreviated Dialing Codes with this elegant campaign management platform provides unprecedented front and back-end services to our clients.”
Single Touchs ADCs enable callers to directly access information on products and services via any mobile phone and download content and audio products through voice services. Consumers see the call to action, dial an abbreviated number such as #BET (#238), listen to the voice prompts, and select the desired content, which is then sent to the phone.
BET (#BET), Univision (#323), MTV (#MTV) and Fox News (#3696) currently use the ADCs to deliver ringtones, TV broadcasts and live audio from concerts. Sears takes advantage of the ADC platform by using #SEARS ADC to directly connect callers to a live customer service representative.
Soapbox and Single Touch now deliver one-stop shopping to customers,” says Soapbox Mobile President, Dan Flanegan. The combination of Single Touchs cross-carrier ADCs and Soapboxs campaign management solutions enable us to provide customers with a superior overall experience.”
