Skyfire Updates Mobile Browser

Skyfire has launched the next generation of its Skyfire browser, version 1.5, for Symbian S60 3rd and 5th edition Smartphones. This latest version follows the release of Skyfire 1.5 for Windows Mobile and is now available for download here.
Skyfire 1.5 for Symbian S60 3 edition features smoother scrolling, an updated user interface (UI), and a number of small enhancements for a more robust and faster browsing experience. Skyfire 1.5 for Symbian S60 5th edition (beta) features smoother scrolling, auto rotation, a full-screen mode, and a new, intuitive, finger-friendly UI for high resolution touchscreen devices
There was a great response when Skyfire 1.5 launched in December 2009 for Windows Mobile. Video, text, and images all look crisp and stunning in high-resolution, explains Jeff Glueck, CEO of Skyfire. Were glad to bring all the unique new features of Skyfire 1.5 to our dedicated Symbian user-base.
With the Skyfire browser, the company says, consumers can access full PC Web content, including web video and live events, just as it would appear on a PC. It adds that Skyfire launches quickly and loads web pages faster than other mobile-based browsers, thanks to Skyfires cloud computing technology, which compresses and boosts the speed of complex web sites. Skyfire also has socialmedia capabilities; when users find a page they want to share with friends, they can tweet and publish Facebook updates with just one click within the browser. Additionally, Skyfire features a customizable homepage, integrating RSS feeds, Facebook and Twitter feeds, and Gmail, into one stream.
