Paris Airport Implements Indoor Geolocation

French indoor geolocation company Pole Star has implemented its NAO Campus solution at Charles de Gualle airport in Paris.

The company has partnered with Hub Télécom to implement the system.

The technology includes an app for consumers smartphones called My Way Aéroports de Paris, which gives users guidance between two terminals at the airport, the train station, and the boarding terminal. The My Way Aéroports de Paris was developed by Aéroports de Paris Group. The app can also display real-time information such as airport news and promotions, as well as transit times between airport locations and guided itineraries.

Christian Carle, CEO and co-founder of the company says: “We are particularly proud to accompany the Paris airports and Hub Télecom in implementing their mobile strategy. We are now working to establish long-term relationships of trust with our partners and customers who will benefit from our unique experience and the latest developments in future versions of NAO Campus. Our strategic vision and our technological lead enable us to be ready for the market at this crucial moment as it enters a phase of significant growth, driven in particular by mobile uses.”
