Tinder has become the App Store’s top grossing app for the first time, Techcrunch reports.
The news comes off the back of the global launch of Tinder Gold last week. The app has a number of premium features, including the ability for a user to see who has liked them without swiping.
Other monetisation features include Tinder Boost, which enables a user to jump to the top of other users’ feeds as they browse the app, and vanilla-flavoured advertising with users’ feeds.
The Tinder app sees 1.6bn swipes and 26m matches per day, and is responsible for facilitating 1.5m dates every week.
