Vuzix Starts Shipping M100 Smart Glasses

Vuzix has started shipping its M100 Smart Glasses in the US.
The monocular device is available to pre-order from the companys site for $1,000 (£611). 
We spoke to vice president of business development Dan Cui about the companys offering in October, to find out what differentiates the smart specs from Googles Glass device. He identified a focus on the enterprise rather than consumers as the companys USP. Now, it seems, Vuzix also has the advantage of being first to market.
